SUZY Walks for One Walk

Team Suzy walked again!

Last Saturday Team Suzy walked 25km through the streets of Toronto on the Rexall One Walk to conquer cancer, united with thousands of others; they knew that together they were taking a step to change the future of all those affected by this terrible disease.

Suzy has participated in the One Walk to conquer cancer for the past 7 years and is a strong supporter of cancer research. This year we worked hard to raise $108,148! But these ladies weren’t the only part of team Suzy, you were too!  With your generous in-store donations we were able to reach our goal and we couldn’t be happier about it. As we continue our ongoing support with Princess Margaret Hospital, we wanted to reflect on our contributions throughout the years

In 2011, Suzy Shier sponsors its first Pit Stop.

In 2012, Lynda Levick, our COO and Lisa Challis, our VP of Operations complete their first walk as part of Team Suzy.

In 2013, Team Suzy grows to 10 strong for the 1-day, 32km walk, with 3 members continue to the 2-day, 60km walk.

In 2014, Team Suzy reaches 11 members and raises over $25,000.

In 2015, Team Suzy has a record year of 24 walkers, raising a total of $65,000!
