Fall is here and it’s time to layer on some style. The best thing about fall fashion is layering, because layering means being able to wear all of your favourite clothes…at the same time. The key to nailing fall fashion is stocking your wardrobe with some great layering pieces that can be put together to make a killer fashion statement whatever the weather. Dusters
Duster sweaters and coatigans are fall fashion essentials if we ever saw one. Somewhere between a sweater and coat, the duster is perfect for those warmer fall days when you need an extra layer but not it’s not quite coat-weather yet. As the weather gets colder, you can also layer a duster under a coat for added warmth and instant style points. Pair a duster with your fave jeans, cute fall booties and a light scarf or pashmina to be the ultimate fall fashionista.
Jackets
Jackets really come into their own this time of year. When the weather turns a little chilly but winter is still a couple of months away, a jacket is the perfect piece of outerwear both temperature and style wise. Thin enough for warmer days, but that extra layer you need as protection from the chilly fall winds. Denim, leather and faux fur are all fall jacket essentials and a faux fur vest layered over a leather jacket and a sweater? Um, hello style queen!

Fall is a great time to take advantage and flaunt the coats you could never get away with wearing during the winter time. Fall coats are perfect for the later month of fall when temperatures really start to drop. A great car coat is perfect for the office and a wrap camel coat is timeless and a wardrobe essential for every fashion IT girl. There are so many great fall coats, it makes us wish that fall lasted all year so we'd get a chance to wear them all.
