Trend Guide: Pastels
If you’ve been spotting sixties hues everywhere lately, you’re not alone. Neutrals and soft shades of pink, blue, and purple were a huge hit on the designer runway shows this season and are all the rage right now.
Nostalgia inducing, easy on the eyes, and the best part, they look great on basically everyone, no matter what skin tone. So, what’s there not to love? This Winter, replace your bold colours with cotton candy hues. Whether you choose to add a pop of color or go out in a full monochromatic look, these shades are perfect for the cold days ahead and will transition perfectly into 2020.
Whether you prefer minimalist neutrals or powdery brights, here are our favorite picks of the season sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
CREAM DREAM
Classic kind of gal? We got you. Mix and match different creamy shades - throw a cozy cardi over a tshirt, mock neck, or button-down shirt and add some denim to the mix for the ultimate refresher.

NOT-SO-BASIC BEIGE
We might be moving onto a new year, but 2019’s dominating color trend is definitely here to stay. On our end, we’re currently filling our closets with pieces in every shade of beige you can think of - sweaters, outerwear, pants, blouses, tanks, you name it. Our favourite way to wear this color is in a full monochrome ensemble paired with white sneakers, but feel free to mix and match with other neutral hues.

PRETTY PINK
Love pink? Same here. This season, add muted shades of pink into your wardrobe for a neutral take on our favorite color. We suggest any of these pretty blouses with a skinny beige pant, or black flared trousers.

Will baby blue ever really go out of style? A shade this cool and calming, we won’t blame you for wanting to wear this hue all the time. Jazz up your jeans and tee with a baby blue tailored coat for a fresh take on an everyday classic look.

COOL LILAC
A bold twist on everyone's favourite millennial pink. Consider solid pieces, and have some fun with monochromatic layering. We suggest a collared shirt under a fuzzy sweater, or a mock neck under a clean blazer. Accessorize with neutral tones to keep things calm.

DOVE GREY
Light grey adds softness to any look, while keeping things classy and sophisticated. Add some light grey to your winter wardrobe by addings in some chunky knits ideal for layering, clean suiting separates to mix and match and essential outerwear. For a sleek and neutral vibe we suggest pairing with an all black look, but if you want to make things a little more fun and delicate, we suggest a blush blouse and light wash denim.
